PortableUI on Windows Pc

*** Description
PortableUI is a remote control app that enables easy operations of Fuji Xerox color multifunction devices installed with an NFC reader/writer for use in stores.

*** System Requirements
Android OS version 4.0.3 or later with built-in NFC function (availability of the app is subject to the model of your device).
Free memory space of 10 MB or more.

*** Functions of PortableUI
- Easy copy/scan setup
Size, Color, Reduce/Enlarge, 2 Sided Copying/Scanning, 2 Pages per Side, and other parameters of color multifunction devices can be set from your mobile device.

- Easy printing of files in mobile devices
Documents and images in your mobile device can be printed without user registration to Public Print or manual entry of Print Reference Number at the color multifunction device.
The file size limit is 4 MB.
The Public Print service is unavailable during service maintenance.

- Printing of files uploaded to Public Print (Public Print app must be installed)
When used with Public Print app, files uploaded to Public Print can be printed without manual entry of Print Reference Number at the color multifunction device.

*** Procedure
- Easy copy/scan setup
1) Using the PortableUI app, set the copy/scan parameters (such as Size, Color, Reduce/Enlarge, Orientation, 2 Sided Copying/Scanning and 2 Pages per Side).
2) Tap [Receive Mobile] button on the menu screen of the color multifunction device, hold your mobile device over the NFC reader/writer of the color multifunction device, then tap the screen of your mobile device.
3) Place or load your original, insert money into the coin kit of the color multifunction device and start the copy/scan job.

*** Easy printing of files in mobile devices
1) Using a viewer app, open the file in your mobile device.
2) In the Android Menu, select [Share], then select [Print with PublicPrint].
3) As the PortableUI app is activated, check the print preview thumbnail, then set the print parameters (such as Size, Color, 2 Sided Printing and 2 Pages per Side).
4) Tap [Receive Mobile] button on the menu screen of the color multifunction device, hold your mobile device over the NFC reader/writer of the color multifunction device, then tap the screen of your mobile device.
5) Insert money into the coin kit of the color multifunction device and start the print job.

*** Printing of files uploaded to Public Print
1) Activate the Public Print app, login to your account and select the uploaded file.
2) Tap the [Share] button of the Public Print app.
3) As the PortableUI app is activated, check the print preview thumbnail, then set the print parameters (such as Size, Color, 2 Sided Printing and 2 Pages per Side).
4) Tap [Receive Mobile] button on the menu screen of the color multifunction device, hold your mobile device over the NFC reader/writer of the color multifunction device, then tap the screen of your mobile device.
5) Insert money into the coin kit of the color multifunction device and start the print job.

*** Notes
- Customers are responsible for all communication charges.
- The following types of files can be printed:
Microsoft Office 2003-2010 for Windows Japanese version, PDF 1.3-1.7, DocuWorks 3.0 or later, TIFF/mTIFF, JPEG and PNG
- Printing service is available 24 hours a day, every day of the year except at the time of monthly maintenance. (Notifications will be sent via the Public Print app.)
- Printing and scanning charges are payable by customers. Charges vary with each store. For more information, refer to the operation guide on the display panel in each store or visit the Public Print website (http://www.publicprint.net).
