ControldemiEPOC is intended for patients with COPD application whose main goal is to improve the patient self-control of the disease through education and aerobic exercise.

The application consists of a section of learning lessons about normal functioning of the lungs, as characteristics of COPD disease, treatments recommended in each case, the nutrition of patients, the recommended exercise and exacerbations of the disease.

Education on self-management of the disease is essential for all patients with COPD. We will guide you through short lessons so you can learn about your COPD and to control it better.

ControldemiEPOC further comprises a sector EXERCISES, where a respiratory rehabilitation plan is designed for each patient according to the degree of breathlessness has. We know that patients with COPD who perform aerobic exercise frequently have better exercise endurance, reduced breathlessness and improved quality of life.

Physical exercise helps a lot to patients with COPD, even the most committed. We will guide you to define an exercise plan that fits your means.

To increase the motivation of the patient using this application, we have used gamification concepts and play techniques that encourage the user to complete pulmonary rehabilitation program and learning lessons.

The usefulness of this application and the benefits it has on patients are being studied by a research grant from the Ministry of Health of Argentina.
