This app is part of a scientific study, in which we will measure users' circadian rhythms. For most people, performance such as reaction time or ability to concentrate varies naturally throughout the day. We provide users with an app that will prompt you about 6 times a day to perform several tasks. The completion of these tasks will take no longer than 5 minutes each time.

In order for us to get a good idea of your circadian rhythm, we would like you to:

1. perform the tasks on your own, without the help of others
2. focus on the tasks, i.e., do not do them while engaging in a different activity such as having a conversation or watching a video
3. don't stress! this is not a test - you do not have to try to improve your performance each time you perform the tasks. If you sometimes do worse that is probably due to your natural rhythm. Try to approach the tasks like a measurement. For example, if we wanted to measure your height you wouldn't try to stand on your toes. So just act naturally during the tasks.

If you are interested in learning about your circadian rhythm, you can leave us your email address in the app. If we are able to detect your rhythm, we will let you know of the results.

For the duration of the study, we will collect the app’s usage data. No phone content, sensor or other apps’ data will be collected. We guarantee that your data will be stored securely and anonymously.

Participation is completely voluntary and you are free to drop out of this study at any point in time.
