Our story
Romania Israel Chamber of Commerce and Industry (C.C.I.R.I.) was founded in 1990, based on a government decision, the first bilateral Chamber of Commerce in Romania.
CCIRI is a non -governmental, public utility, with autonomous and apolitical character, whose purpose is to promote economic cooperation between Romania and Israel. Among CCIRI members include major companies, both Romanian and Israeli.
CCIRI held since 1990 until now, numerous missions in Israel on the occasion of major international exhibitions as: TECHNOLOGY, AGRITECH, MODERN LIVING, SECURITY, etc., focused on important sectors of economic cooperation such as agriculture, food industry, electronics, medical equipment, high- tech. Were held annually in Bucharest ICT exhibitions, together with Globus Gate Ltd of Israel and the Israeli Embassy in Bucharest.
Since 1999, CCIRI realized in collaboration with the Israel Export Institute, annual business forums, in Bucharest and Tel Aviv, the forum in 2001, being dedicated to the 10 years of activity , and these forums, the fields ( construction, tourism, IT, industry, etc.).
Through the quality of its services, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Romania Israel managed to attract significant foreign investments in Romania and to assist investors in completing their actions.
Romania's entry into the European Union has boosted particularly Israeli investments in our country, especially in real estate, services and food production, and CCIRI is ready to further support the effort of Israeli investors in various fields.

•an active campaign to promote the products/services of the member companies both on the level of the members and partners of the Chamber as well as regard to the integrated system of UBCCR.
•identify new business partners and concluding transactions with them through the CCIRI, with a mutual agreed fee for transactions completed.
•Access to our loyalty program: a substantial discount on any product / service provided by members of the House: hotels, restaurants, airline tickets, tour packages etc.
•organizes, on request, for its members, meetings with High Representatives of the Romanian and/or Israeli Authorities with the purpose of presenting important projects of business or investment and therewith handling some eventual problems of the bilateral business environment.
