The official application of Sohag University - Egypt

Sohag University of regional fledgling universities, its overall Alastratejay is to cover the local labor market and national and regional needs of graduates qualified scientifically and practically, as well as the preparation of a generation of distinguished scientists who are able to lead development in all humanitarian and social areas of humanitarian and applied sciences.

The history of Sohag University extends to the date of the establishment of the first college in Sohag, a College of Education in 1971.
This was followed by the establishment of faculties of science, arts, commerce, medicine, and these colleges since its inception affiliated with the University of Assiut, and then became the colleges located in the city of Sohag, affiliated with the University of South Valley at its inception, and in 2006 established Sohag University embraces all colleges located in the city of Sohag.

At present, Sohag University comprises fifteen College.
