Watch or Listen to Sermons and Teaching sessions from The Oaks Community Church

The TOCC Sermons app provides access to all livestream and recorded sermons and Bible teaching sessions from The Oaks Community Church, Bakersfield, California. Each Sunday worship service is broadcast live and may be watched live in this app. Our Bible Survey Fellowship studies are recorded and may also be watched here after they are published.

• TOCC Archive
The archive playlist provides access to all services and events in chronological order. The additional playlists, including those named below, cover specific topics, such as our 2020 Bible Survey, our 8 Habits series, and our Celebrate Recovery ministry.

• 2020 Bible Survey
"If you continue in My Word, then you are truly disciples of Mine; and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free" (John 8:31-32). On January 1, 2016 we began a 5-year journey through the entire Bible. We have been spending about six months each year in the Old Testament and six months in the New Testament. As we have been preaching through the Bible in the worship services our children have been studying the same chapters in their Journey With Jesus (Sunday School) classes, with age-appropriate lessons taught by teachers and parents in partnership with each other. This has helped reinforce the lessons from the Word as parents and children discuss together what they "learned in church today."

• 8 Habits of a Healthy Disciple
Those who desire a closer walk with God will want to listen to our 8 Habits of a Healthy Disciple series. These habits include
#1—Believe & Be Baptized;
#2—Be Empowered By The Spirit;
#3—Love, Learn, and Live God's Word;
#4—Pray Continually;
#5—Devote Yourself to Worship & Fellowship;
#6—Show God's Love & Share Your Faith;
#7—Receive and Release Forgiveness; and
#8—Serve and Give with Joy.
This teaching series is so important to the life of The Oaks that it is a requirement for membership. You can take the class with a group which meets twice per year, or sign up to be individually discipled by a qualified leader in the church. Or, you can listen to the 8 teachings online or in this app and go to the church office to certify you have finished the class. God bless you as you develop these 8 Habits of a Healthy Disciple!

• Celebrate Recovery
Our Celebrate Recovery fellowship meets each Friday evening, and some of the teachings and the testimonies are recorded and published here.
