It is an undisputed fact that Smartphones are now a major part of our lives. We depend more and more on these smart devices and not just for making calls.

We have got used to having access to the internet wherever and whenever we want and this availability has already impacted the way we live. The quality of our mobile access has now become a most important issue for us as end users as it impacts our way of life.

A good quality network is in the best interest of you the end user and the mobile operator. At present the only way a mobile operator obtains information relating to the quality of their service from an end user perspective is when there is a problem. It would therefore be of great benefit to the mobile operator and the end user if they could work together to improve the ongoing quality of their network. If it was possible to achieve this scenario then everyone would benefit.

This scenario can be achieved with Xperience which is a distributed solution comprised of a large number of individual applications (apps) running on Smartphones. The Xperience app provides the end user the means to become a virtual technician. The Xperience app is intuitive and straight forward to use and will help in improving the network. The end user can measure the quality of the internet connection whether at home, in the office or even outdoors. The objective results of such measurements can be displayed on the Smartphone.

When the end user experiences some issues, e.g. loss of coverage, he can report this issue through a feedback panel. But the feedback panel is not only a subjective report of the end users perception, in the background the last hours history of network events is scanned and when matching events are found, reported together with the subjective experience.

The Xperience app collects a wide range of technical information that can be used to improve the network quality. In accordance with common privacy requirements, Xperience app reports only technical information. Xperience app can be set to keep either the end user and/or the device anonymous to the mobile operator.

Join the Xperience community by installing the app and help to improve the quality and usability of the mobile networks.
