"Shree Gajanan Maharaj", one of the popular Saint from India. No one clearly knows about the birth and early life history. “Sant Shri Gajanan Maharaj Sansthan" is the largest temple trust in the Buldhana district from Maharashtra. Maharaj firstly appeared in Shegaon a place from Maharashtra which is in Vidarbh region in 18th century, on 23rd Feb i.e. according to Hindu calendar "Magh Krishna Saptami". Bote is corrupt form of Bate, the overall meaning is "Individual soul is brahma himself". That is God is omnipresent. He used to do Ashtang Yoga using their meditative practice he can do various miracles so that devotees called him as Yogiraj. Maharaj Das Ganu Maharaj has written a 21 chapter biography, "Shri Gajanan Vijay Granth" of Gajanan Maharaj in Marathi. This book contains divine description of miracles of Gajanan Maharaj.
