The management of perimenopausal and menopausal period seems to be the key factor for healthy aging for women and for containment of the risks associated to the emergence of non-communicable chronic diseases.
In this sense, the menopause event, must be seen as a sentinel event that offers a unique opportunity for a dialogue between women and health care providers to assess and improve the state of health.
The progressive aging of the population imposes implement appropriate and innovative strategies to mitigate the negative social and economic system, as well as at the individual level.
The aim of the course is "To train trainers" to promote a motivational counseling and a conscious perception of the pre / post menopausal changes in women, as well as the risks linked to the emergence of non-communicable chronic diseases.
The course, sponsored by Sigite - Italian Society of Gynecology and AOGOI Third Age, will be repeated in multiple editions throughout the region, in collaboration with the Order of Physicians, ASP Provinces and SIMG.
