Al-Qur'an is a miracle of the Prophet Muhammad are very precious to Muslims today. It contains the instructions and guidance to mankind in achieving happiness in life in this world and hereafter.
The parts of the Qur'an

The Qur'an has 114 letters, with the longest letter consists of 286 verses, the Qur'an, and the shortest is composed of three verses, Al-'Ashr, Al-Kauthar, and An-Nasr.

Some scholars assert the number of verses in the Quran is 6236, some states 6,666. The difference is due to the number of verses differing views on the sentence Basmalah at the beginning of each letter (except At-Tawbah), then about opening words letter containing an array of letters as Yaa Seen, Alif Lam Mim, Ha Mim etc. There was entered as the verse, there is no mengikutsertakannya as verse.

To facilitate reading and memorization, the scholars divide the Koran in 30 chapters of the same length, and in 60 hizb (usually written in the margins of the Qur'an).
