In this post, I am going to show you how to install Radial Watch Face on Windows PC by using Android App Player such as BlueStacks, LDPlayer, Nox, KOPlayer, ...

Below you will find a detailed step-by-step guide, but I want to give you a fast overview of how it works. All you need is an emulator that will emulate an Android device on your Windows PC and then you can install applications and use it - you see you're playing it on Android, but this runs not on a smartphone or tablet, it runs on a PC.

Step By Step Guide To Install Radial Watch Face using BlueStacks

  1. Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
  2. Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. If your APK/XAPK file doesn't automatically open BlueStacks, right-click on it and select Open with... Browse to the BlueStacks. You can also drag-and-drop the APK/XAPK file onto the BlueStacks home screen
  3. Once installed, click "Radial Watch Face" icon on the home screen to start using, it'll work like a charm :D

Finally, a simple watchface that shows the time with round bars. I designed this watch because I was tired of my Google Now cards coming up and blocking the time on so many beautiful watch faces, making them unusable. I added a slight angle to the watch numbers so you can see them when you lift your wrist but don't bring it directly in front of your face.

I searched a bit on the Play Store for an app that allowed you to display the time in a simple manner like this, but couldn't find anything that wasn't busy or trying to do too many things, so I made my own, I hope you like it!

Tested with my Moto 360, it SHOULD display nicely on other watches, let me know if there are display issues.

This project has been rewritten to use the Android Wear Watch Face API, this does break compatibility with Wear devices that aren't updated to 5.0W. Hopefully this isn't an issue as everyone should have gotten that update about a week ago, but let me know if this doesn't work for you.
