Take a picture and the artificial intelligence will recognize the object(s) on it.
Our idea was to make a program that helps people very easily track the amount of calories they eat by taking pictures of the food they will consume. By analyzing the picture, the smartphone would have been able to determine what kind of food was on the image and its quantity. Using that data, it would have been able to determine the amount of calories in the food and the substances it contains. Most of the illnesses are caused by poor nutrition or by the shortage of certain substances that we do not take in sufficient quantity. That is why we thought that such a program would be very useful. It turned out that Samsung had the same idea and have already built in the same functionality in their new smartphones from the Galaxy S line - S9 and S9+. Moreover, there are already several programs that do similar things. That is why we thought that there is no point in continuing our work on this project and we decided to release it as a free and enjoyable program that demonstrates the level and accuracy reached by the artificial intelligence in its ability to recognize the objects in an image. All you need to do is to take a picture of something and the program will show you what it thinks is on the image and what is the likelihood of that prediction to be true. The program needs access to the Internet for the photo analysis. We apologize for the large amount of ads we have included in the program, but we use paid image recognition services from a third-party company. We have not released this program for profit, but if we find out that our revenues are far less than our maintenance costs, we will be forced to stop its development and to remove the program. We encourage you to click on more ads we show so that it lasts longer in the Play Store. We will look for other image recognition services that we will embed further on and you will be able to compare their results. We are currently using the services of Clrifai, but we will inform you in due time when we move to another service.
We hope that you will enjoy our program.
