Narendra Damodardas Modi, born September 7, the fifth Prime Minister of India. The politician won by a majority by leading the Bharatiya Janata Party in the 16th General Election held on 28 August and was sworn in as India's 15th Prime Minister on May 27. Earlier, he held the post of Chief Minister of Gujarat. Modi is a member of a pro-Hindu organization called the State Volunteer Association, and like the media and mockers, he claims to be a Hindu nationalist.

He was known as a controversial figure both in India and abroad, as his administration was critical of the Gujarat riots in 212 AD, but he was praised for his monetary policy in creating a conducive environment for boosting Gujarat's economic development. On the other hand, he has also been criticized for his administration's inability to exert constructive influence on the human development of his kingdom.

Early life and education
Narendra Modi was born on September 7, 8th, to a lower class family of Ghanchi Teli community at Baranagar in Mahesana district of the present Gujarat state of Bombay Presidency. He was the third of his parents' four children. His father's name was Damodardas Mulchand Modi and his mother's name was Hiraben Modi. He used to help his father sell tea at the Baranagar railway station and sell tea with his brother near the bus stand at Kishore. The whole family lived in a small 5-foot X 12-foot, single-storey house. He finished his schooling in this city as a normal student. As a child, Swami Vivekananda's life inspired him especially. At the age of eight, Modi came to the local branch of the State Volunteer Association and his political mentor, Lakshman, also came in contact with an organizer named Inamdar. Inamdar named him as the team's volunteer volunteer. It was during this time that he came in contact with Vasant Gajendragarkar and Nathalal Jagadhar, leaders of the Jan Sangh. According to the Ghanchi community, Modi's parents settled in marriage as a teenager. At the age of thirteen, his marriage to a girl named Yashodaban Chimonlal settled, and at the age of eighteen, the marriage ceremony was completed. They spend very little time together because after Modi decides to follow the life of the traveler, they are separated. According to Modi's biographer Nilanjan Mukherjee, the marriage never ended in divorce. Although Modi was silent about his married life in campaigning for the four elections, he acknowledged Yashodaban as his legally-valid spouse when he submitted his nomination papers in the 16th general election held on 28th.

According to the book Narendra Modi, a common man written by Kishore Makwana, published on 26th, it is reported that after leaving the house at the age of seventeen, he traveled to the Ramakrishna Mission in Rajkot and then to Belur Math. She then joined Swami Vivekananda's ashram in Almora town. Two years later, he returned home and joined his Quaker tea shop in Ahmedabad. During this time he again came in contact with Lakshmanara Inamdar. He then joined the Gujarat State Road Vehicle Use Corporation as a canteen employee until he joined the State Volunteer Association as a full-time evangelist in 6 AD. During this time, he received his bachelor's degree in political science from Delhi University and a post-graduate degree from Gujarat University.
