jWebCam is an app developed for Android enabled devices that allows you to use your phone as a webcam and thus prolong the use of these devices once they have become obsolete due to its low performance, battery level, etc.

It also appears to enhance the Canary Vista project as a way to provide the possibility of using a webcam that often enough quality and low cost by reusing mobile devices no longer use.

Its features include:

It lets take pictures at regular user-defined intervals.

It has several controls for adjusting such photographs as image size, white balance, etc.

It allows you to upload pictures to an FTP server to be shared. There is also the option that the file name includes the date and time it was obtained in order to subsequently perform TimeLapse video format.

Integra in the image itself the date and time when the photo was taken, as well as a label chosen by the user.
