Introduction Differentiating between what's urgent vital and moderate to get done will do you a lot of good in getting things done. Urgent tasks are things that are most important and must get done now and/or are due pretty soon. This might means things like fixing the car leaky pipes finishing up the book report for class doing your taxes or completing the presentation you need to make for work. Vital tasks are ones that aren't as important as urgent things but do need to be done. This can range from the same things as above but to other things like cleaning out the gutters vacuuming the house talking to your teachers or reorganizing your library. Moderate tasks are usually ones that can just wait. Those are usually more things you need to do for yourself and comprise of many mundane things. Now we discussed how you can plan for the day and time for tackling said tasks you need to get done but right here we're going into the tasks themselves and how they get done. That may sound a little similar but really above we talk about how to manage the time this is about managing the tasks. This may be a no-brainer but you should compile all the tasks on your plate and rank them in importance. Learn to believe and manage Now you can separate all these tasks and rank them in how to get them done. Make a list out them and number them first being the absolute most important and then the last being the one that's least important and can wait down there. You can also group some of them into an A B C list. A group comprising of those tasks that must be done B group of tasks that you should get done and C group is full of things that would be good for you to do but they can honestly wait for a while as you get A and B group tasks done first. As you complete each item mark them off the list as you go since this will motivate you to go after the next tasks to get the day finished. It will make you feel gratified and energized at all of what you've gotten done. Now that you know how you can manage setting up the time of what needs to get done and how to tackle what must be done first it's about time you start making a routine out of it. Making a routine for yourself will make you consistently productive.
Believe to Organize This of course means doing the big tasks but small ones can be done here and there between some of the bigger ones if that is how you choose to operate. You could do stuff like filing stuff checking emails although those might be part of the bigger tasks you have to do. While that might be a fine way for getting things done depending on what type of work ethic you personally have it's important that you stay focused and stay on point with the task you're trying to get done. Make sure before anything gets done that your list and materials needed to get things done are very well organized in order to make sure you don't get distracted. Don't let other tasks take your mind off of what you need to do. Now the rest of the tips are just random but contain helpful bits of information that can help you with better using your time and the first just being able to say no every once in a while. Once again humans can only do so much within a day but even when they do what they can do within a day to their limits there's still going to be more stuff to do but you can't make the to do list so large.
Need thy feed feed thy need If you're the type that likes to help people out be they friends or strangers that's great! The world needs more people like that but you can't do everything for everyone. You want to be a door opener not a door mat. You can only help so many people with so many things so you need to decide what you're going to do next to what you'll do for or help someone else with. You can take on some tasks for others or offer help but not too much.
