I like to leave my phone on all night playing my shortwave radio. Frequently when I wake up in the morning, the battery on my phone is dead. The default battery low alert that comes with my phone is a single alert that can easily be missed. I needed a better alerting mechanism so when my phone battery is near dead, it will wake me up so I can plug it in.
