Are your kids spending too much screen time on their phone or tablet browsing the internet and watching videos? This simple app can help you out by setting a programmable daily limit of internet usage for your kids!

Unlike other internet parenting control solutions, TimeOut Browser is a simple web browser with a built-in timer, NO subscription fees, NO complicated network setup and NO ads. It's designed for parents who would like to simply set a total daily time allowance of internet usage on their kids phone or tablet without going through the hassle of complicated setup or usage. Once the kids have used their total daily internet time limit (quota), TimeOut Browser will restrict browsing until the next day so they can do other things!

Here's how it works:

The first time TimeOut Browser is launched, you create a password and set the total daily time limit of internet browsing usage(in minutes). You can also change the default homepage to any webpage you want if you want to restrict usage to a specific webpage for your kids. For example, if you change the homepage to facebook, youtube or wikipedia, TimeOut browser will always launch and limit their on-line time to your specified homepage.

After the initial setup, every time TimeOut Browser is launched, they can use it until the timer expires! The timer pauses when TimeOut Browser is not used, so they can use TimeOut Browser at different times during the day until the total daily allowance expires. The timer limit will automatically reset the next day after midnight.

You can check the remaining daily time usage by sliding the drawer from the left edge of the screen. The value is in minutes, so a value of 60 will give the TimeOut Browser a total of one hour of internet usage per day (which can be used in multiple sessions).

You can also change both the daily timer value and the homepage of the browser anytime by sliding the drawer from the left edge and pressing "Settings" along with your password, home page and time limit.

INTERNET permission is needed to browse the internet.
