Since the first edition of the show, on March 31, at 20.00, Antena 1, challengers, young talented musicians and eager to assert, will try to occupy a place occupied by four artists already selected by the jury, so none of them will be safe! Each challenger will sing a song, and the jury will evaluate his performance. Only challengers receiving all four votes of the jury have the right to challenge to a duel on one of the "four".

The audience in the hall is the one who makes the final decision after musical duel between challenger and one of the four. The audience votes via the "The Four - The 4" and the singer with the most votes will be seated. Where one of the "four" Pied its place, there is a chance for redemption. Before the semifinals, only four of the artists who have taken over a chair competition, depending on the number of votes received, are elected by the public and can be returned to "The Four - The four" live in semifinal. Challengers who fail to get a seat can not be restored in the competition.
