'Slow Carb is not fun', says Ferriss. Like Low Carb, Slow Carb also uses low carbohydrate and high protein diets. The goal: a low glycemic index. If you want to reduce your weight over the long term, you must adhere to the following rules.

1. No starchy foods
The Slow Carb diet forbids all white carbohydrates, in some cases, even products from whole grain. Bread, (natural) rice, pasta, potatoes, cereals, tortillas and breaded are taboo.

2. Same meals
