What is QD?
QD is an application to detect qibla (kaaba) direction. It will be helpful when you begin performing salah (prayer) in the area where you do not know which one the qibla direction is.

What methods are used in QD?
QD applies the concept of spherical triangle with an assumption that the surface of the earth is a sphere. This app uses spherical trigonometry to calculate and determine qibla azimuth from inserted data.

Are the input data inserted automatically or manually?
There are two input modes: automatic and manual. In automatic input mode, QD detects your position involving latitude, longitude and your location automatically. Of course, this can work only if your mobile's location sensors are enabled (you have to make sure your mobile is able to detect locations via wireless network and/or GPS satellite). In manual input mode, you can input your position (latitude and longitude) by yourself. This second mode helps you when you are in the area with limited signals.

Are the results accurate?
This app is designed to obtain results as accurate as possible. However, the accuracy of the results also depends on the ability of your mobile's sensors and external factors.
