We provide a useful guide to correct the most common errors and the most common confusion when writing, also it includes information SAR and dictionaries of it.

The spelling of the Spanish uses a variant of the Latin alphabet, consisting of 27 letters: aa, b, c, d, e, f, g, h, i, j, k, l, m, n, n, o, p , q, r, s, t, u, v, w, x, y and z. Also five digraphs are also used to represent as many phoneme "ch", "ll", "rr", "gu" and "qu", considered the latter two as positional variants for the representation of phonemes / g / and /k/.5

Ch and ll digraphs have specific phonetic values, so the Spelling of the Spanish language 17546 began considering them as letters of the Spanish alphabet and from the publication of the fourth edition of the Dictionary of the Spanish language 18037 8 were ordered L.9 cy separately from the X Congress of the Association of Spanish Language Academies held in Madrid in 1994 and on the recommendation of several agencies, it was agreed reorder digraphs ch and ll in the place the universal Latin alphabet assigns them although they were still part of the abecedario.10 with the publication of the Spelling of the Spanish language in 2010, both of which were no longer considered abecedario.11 letter vowels (a, e, i, o, u) accept also the acute accent or tilde ( 'as in á, é, í, ó, ú) to indicate the stressed syllable; and vocal or accepts the umlaut or cream (¨), which modifies the güe syllables, güi to indicate its sound.

Developed in several stages from alfonsino period, the spelling is definitely standardized under the guidance of the Royal Spanish Academy, and has undergone few changes since the publication of the Spelling of the Spanish tongue of 1854. The successive decisions have applied criteria sometimes etymological phonological and sometimes resulting in a hybrid and strongly conventional system. While the correspondence between spelling and spoken language is predictable from writing (ie, a competent speaker is able to unambiguously determine the estimated correct pronunciation for almost any text), but not the reverse happens, and there are numerous letters representing graphically identical phonemes (the number of phonemes of Spanish typically ranges between 22 and 24, according the dialect [citation needed]). Projects spelling reform in search of one correspondence (the earliest dating from the seventeenth century) have invariably been rejected. The divergence of the phonology of the language among its various dialects today makes impossible the development of a purely phonetic spelling that adequately reflects the variety of language; most of the current proposals are limited to the simplification of homophones symbols, which are held for etymological reasons.
