Here are some of the wisdom behind fasting of Ramadan that we extracted from some scholars kalam. May be useful.

1. Reaching Degrees Takwa

Allah Ta'ala says,

"O ye who believe, fasting is prescribed for you as it was prescribed for those before you, that ye righteous." (QS. Al-Baqarah: 183). This verse shows that among the lessons of fasting is to be a servant to reach the degree of piety and fasting is the cause reach this exalted. This is because in fasting, a person will carry out the commands of Allah and stay away from any of his ban. This is the sense of piety. Forms of piety in the fasting may be seen in the following areas.

First, people who fasted will leave every God forbid when it was that he left to eat, drink, berjima 'with my wife and so on are actually very skewed heart and want to do it. This is all done in order taqorrub or closer to God and won the reward from Him. This form of piety.

Second, the fasting person is actually able to perform the pleasures of the mundane. But he knows that God is always watching himself. This is also one form of piety which is felt constantly watched over by God.

Third, when fasting, everyone will be the spirit of doing deeds of obedience. And obedience is the way to achieve piety. [1] This is partly in the form of piety in the practice of fasting.
