This application seeks that citizens understand how Bogotá and its inhabitants have been affected by armed conflict, by visiting, travel and appropriation of places in the city, which have been the scene for the exercise of violence; but also significant in the search for peace places.
A comprehensive record of all these places, given the continuation and extent of the armed conflict, beyond the scope of this application. Consequently, geographic location and basic information of some iconic sites, among which is included in a special way the Center of Memory, Peace and Reconciliation of the Mayor of Bogotá is presented; and also several passable paths that different items related to the history of armed conflict are articulated are proposed. However, a space is provided for citizens to propose other places that contribute to remember what happened and thus can extend the boundaries of urban mapping memory.
The intention is that, to navigate the city using this tool, people can become more aware of how they have experienced war and peace in the territory of the city.
