"Whoever reads the letter al-Kahf on Friday night, then emitted light for him as far as between itself him and Baitul 'Atiq." (Sunan Al-Darimi, no. 3273. Also narrated by al-Nasai and Al-Hakim and classed as saheeh by al-Albani in Saheeh al-Targheeb wa al-Tarheeb, no. 736)
2. In still another history of Abu Sa'id al-Khudri radi 'anhu
"Whoever reads surat Al-Kahf on Friday, it will be emitted light for him between the two Fridays." (HR. Al-Hakim: 2/368 and Al-Bayhaqi: 3/249. Ibn Hajar commented on this hadeeth in al-Adzkar Takhrij, "hasan hadeeth." He stated that this hadith is the hadith of the most powerful of surat Al-Kahf. menshahihkannya Shaykh al-Albani in Sahih al-Jami, no. 6470).
3. From Ibn Umar radi 'anhuma, said: The Messenger sallallaahu' alaihi wasallam said:
"Anyone who read the letter al-Kahf on Friday, it will radiate light from the bottom of his feet to the sky, will be illuminated later on the Day of Resurrection, and forgiven between the two Friday."
When is Reading?
Sunnah reciting surat Al-Kahf on Friday night or in the day Jum'atnya. And Friday night starting from sunset on Thursday. This opportunity ends until sundown on the day Jum'atnya. From this it can be concluded that the opportunity to read the letter al-Kahf is from sundown on Thursday afternoon until sundown on Friday.
Surat Al-Kahf and Defamation Dajjal
