Stendal translated the Bible using a manuscript translated by Casiodoro de Reina, one of the first Castilian translations of the Bible, the famous Reina Valera, translated by Casiodoro Reina and revised by Cipriano Valera.

Martin Stendal was an evangelical missionary born in the United States and raised in Colombia. An expert in Spanish and English, he studied Hebrew and produced this version of the Bible in Spanish.

This version is notable for its fidelity to the original texts, but at the same time it is an easy-to-read version, with current language and understandable to all.
