We offer the Bible translated by Reina Casiodoro the Castilian language and revised by Cipriano de Valera. It was published in 1569 in the city of Basel, Switzerland. In 1602 it takes place the impression in Amsterdam, Netherlands, becoming the most widespread of the Bible in Castilian language version.
The name is due to Cipriano Valera Valera, who made the first revision based on the Bible Cántaro. He and Queen Casiodoro were two Catholic monks who were exiled from Spain, thus avoiding the Inquisition. Both were persecuted for sharing the ideals of the Protestant Reformation as Luther and Calvin.
The King James Bible has had many revisions over the years, all have respected the name Reina Valera joined a year that has carried out its review, for example: Biblia Reina Valera 1602, King James 1960 Bible in Valera 2009, to name a few.
