Uday Kiran was born on 26 June 1980 in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh. He graduated in commerce from Wesley College, Secunderabad. He made his Tamil debut with the film Poi, directed by veteran K. Balachander. Subsequently, he starred in romantic films including Nee Sneham and Kalusukovalani in Telugu. He was last seen in the film Jai Sriram. He has acted in over 20 movies in his career spanning 13 years,Uday Kiran Vajapeyajula was an Indian film actor, who primarily worked in the Telugu cinema. He made himself marked in the industry with the films Chitram, Nuvvu Nenu and Manasantha Nuvve, which were super hits, earning him the title "Hat-trick Hero". He had won the Filmfare Award for Best Actor - Telugu for the film Nuvvu Nenu, and became the youngest winner of the Filmfare best actor award after great actor Kamal Haasan.uday Kiran at first was in love with great actor Chiranjeevi's daughter Sushmitha. They got engaged in the year 2003 but due to some reasons the engagment was broken. He was later married to Vishitha on October 24, 2012. Uday Kiran made his Tollywood debut under his mentor, cinematographer turned film director Teja with the film Chitram, in which he played the lead character of a 17 year old college student. The film went on to become a trend setter. He later featured in two super hit films Nuvvu Nenu and Manasantha Nuvve, which made him to have a strong foundation in the film industry. In his fourth film, Kalusukovalani, his dancing skills were exhibited in the songs, "Udayinchina" and "Cheliya Cheliya". Later in the film Sreeram, he was appeared as a successful cop.
