Anyone can use the Kentucky Blood Center (KBC) app to find KBC donation locations and schedule appointments. KBC blood donors can also access their donor profile, check donation eligibility, find their blood type and see their wellness information recorded at the time of their donation, such as cholesterol, hemoglobin and weight.

KBC accepts volunteer blood donors who are in good health, weigh at least 110 pounds, have a photo I.D. and are at least 17-years-old or 16 with a signed parental permission slip.

KBC is the largest independent, full-service, non-profit blood center in Kentucky. Licensed by the FDA, KBC’s sole purpose is to collect, process and distribute blood for patients in Kentucky hospitals.
