This mobile application is oriented display by students, the content of virtual science labs, belonging to the University of Cordoba. The App has three different scenarios corresponding to laboratories for Physics, Chemistry and Biology, respectively. In each of these laboratories the material and equipment used in different practices, providing students with a simulation tool in the development of practices, anticipating concepts and activities that will enhance subsequent performance in the laboratory sample.
Physics Laboratory practices related to the subject of "Physical Fundamentals of Engineering", given in the first year of the Degrees of Agricultural Engineering and Rural Environment and Forestry are presented. In this scenario the four sessions that constitute the practical part, allowing access to content and explanation of each of them, visualizing the elements of which are composed shown.
Practices corresponding to the subject "Organic Chemistry II" for the second year of the Degree in Chemistry will be accessible through the Chemistry Laboratory, where you can find various glass materials to be used, the necessary mounts for development the practices and other resources (videos, scripts practices ...).
Corresponding to the Laboratory of Biology, stage show equipment and tools used in related subjects and Molecular Biology Grade belonging to Genetics and its features and utilities.
This tool has been developed by Teaching and Research Staff (PDI) belonging to different departments of the University of Córdoba (Department of Organic Chemistry, Department of Agronomy, Department of Genetics and Applied Physics Department) in collaboration with the CETEMET technology center.
The main objective of this app is to provide the students a useful, simple and interactive tool that encourages active learning material and / or equipment to be found, along university degree, in real laboratories where it will develop their practices. The specific objectives can be highlighted the relationship of students with the use of ICT and simulation tools in the development of its activity; motivation reasoning ability, and analysis procedures that allow students to face and solve new problems properly; and promote autonomous individual work complemented by the possibility of interaction and discussion using social networking both between teacher and students and between groups of students.
