If your phone is a T-Mobile or MetroPCS model it will not ask for any code and this is just fine. For T-Mobile and MetroPCS Galaxy S9 models we use a different unlocking method (our service will not deliver any codes). The phone will be unlocked in the carrier servers; when our service is complete all you have to do will be to open the official Device Unlock app already installed on the phone and tap Permanently Unlock.

Unfortunately at this point there is no support for Samsung locked by major CDMA carriers (e.g. Verizon, Sprint).
★ Verizon is not network locking their handsets.
★ If your Samsung is rooted and/or has custom firmware installed you will need to revert to stock firmware and apply the unlocking procedure. After unlock as it is permanent you will be able to install any firmware version (custom/stock) and root the phone if you desire.
