There are already trying to memorize the lesson until late at night, but when the test comes, even forgot the lesson memorized. In fact there are many years to seek knowledge, but he did not know what to do with the science that has been obtained. There also have been many years of study, but did not also understand the lessons. Why does this happen?

When this question is asked on the Sheik Burhanuddin al-Zarnuji, author of the book al-Muta'allim Ta'lim Thoriqoh Ila al-Ta'allum, surely he would say, because someone was not earnest in their studies, do not obey the same teacher, unfocused, like playing games, and so forth.

Kitab al-Muta'allim Ta'lim Thoriqoh ila al-Ta'allum better known by the name Ta'lim Muta'allim, is the only one of Sheikh Burhanuddin al-Zarnuji. In this book, al-Zarnuji describes a good learning method. He divides his book into 13 chapters, all of which meant that a student can get good science and useful to himself and others.

Among schools, especially those based salafiyah (traditional), this book is one that is learned. The book is a reference well as guidance for the prosecution of science in order to obtain useful knowledge.

In this book there are lots of instructions for a student of knowledge. For example, in choosing a teacher or a friend as a 'friend' discussions in solving various problems that exist in society. Shaykh al-Zarnuji also wrote about how to glorify science, those who have knowledge (teacher), obligations of a student as a student of knowledge, and so forth.

In terms of the relationship with a friend, Sheikh Al-Zarnuji states: Laa tashhibu al-Kaslan fi haalaatihi, kam Shaalih bifasaadi trips can yufsidi (Thou shalt not associate with a lazy, a lot of good people because of contact with people who damaged his behavior, he eventually became broken).
