The rationale of this initiative is to encourage students to use such media in the process of teaching and learning, developing in them, diverse skills that will facilitate this process, involving the whole school community in an interdisciplinary project, research and information sharing and knowledge.

We understand that Radio Educa may allow the teacher can guide their students, providing audio, text, images, videos, bibliographies and links that complement or deepen the knowledge learned in the classroom.

Through these works, teachers and students can disseminate information and activities in schools allowing parents and other interested parties to track the day-to-day school.

Our prospect of using a web radio school is proposing that education and communication are allied in the learning process, organizing and transmitting formal and informal knowledge, as well as assisting in oral and written language.
Digital technologies Information and communication play a very important role in contemporary society. They are part and interfere in our school.

Most students have familiarity, knowledge and mastery of these technologies.

Radio is a dynamic and attractive media, able to propose the interaction of different languages, with the technological culture, developing in students creative research skills, acquire knowledge, reflection, production and social intervention. It is also an exercise in collaborative opportunities that will enable ourselves democratically share with other colleagues, knowledge developed and new knowledge.

Being both transmitter and receiver, and thus exploring its potential and acquiring understanding conditions and creativity on the political, economic, social or ideological.

But the proposal of setting up a web radio goes beyond form critical receptors. Mainly involves the production of programs that give voice to the whole school and community canindeense, mixing popular knowledge, social projects such as traffic, environment, nutrition, sport, current affairs, speaking, writing and art.

The task of implementing a web radio within the school meets an innovated education based on integrating knowledge, the development of self-esteem and self-knowledge, training students entrepreneurs and citizen students.

Reading and research become crucial in the search for information for the production of interesting and significant programs in school life. Students need to be informed and, therefore, should follow the news, read the newspaper and access trusted sites that bring the true and updated news.
