In this post, I am going to show you how to install CardiacApp on Windows PC by using Android App Player such as BlueStacks, LDPlayer, Nox, KOPlayer, ...

All you need is an emulator that will emulate an Android device on your Windows PC and then you can install applications and use it - you see you're playing it on Android, but this runs not on a smartphone or tablet, it runs on a PC.

Step By Step Guide To Install CardiacApp using BlueStacks

  1. Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
  2. Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. If your APK/XAPK file doesn't automatically open BlueStacks, right-click on it and select Open with... Browse to the BlueStacks. You can also drag-and-drop the APK/XAPK file onto the BlueStacks home screen
  3. Once installed, click "CardiacApp" icon on the home screen to start using, it'll work like a charm :D

This app wirelessly collects data from the Life Signal Patch worn on a person’s body, and provides viewing and analysis of that person’s vital signs information.

The Life Signal Patch worn on a person’s chest wirelessly transmits the physiological data to an android phone over a Wi-Fi network in which both the android phone and the Life Signal Patch are client devices.
The CardiacApp displays the streaming ECG and respiration waveforms of the person, along with the heart rate and respiration rate values.
The user interface of the app facilitates locating and pairing with the Life Signal Patch wirelessly and securely, and provides the ability to customize the network connectivity parameters of the patch. The user can record the streaming information over a period, and later play it back.The live heart rate and respiration rate trends are also displayed. The user is informed of heart rate and respiration rate variations with alerts when they exceed or fall below user set thresholds.
