UNDERSTANDING ABOUT WHAT IS TABI'IN? AND EXPLANATION ABOUT SIRSILAH UP TO THE BIG PEOPLE OF ISLAM.

Tabi'in, was an early Muslim whose lifetime after the Companions of the Prophet and did not experience the lifetime of the Prophet Muhammad. Of course he is younger than the Companions of the Prophet, even some who are still children or adolescents in the time of Friends are still alive. Tabi'in is a student of the Companions of the Prophet.

The Tabi'in the main group / senior (kibar at-tabi'in), who died around 95 H / 713 AD. They were contemporaries of Said bin al-Musayyab (born 13 H - died 94 H).

The Tabi'in middle group (al-wustha min at-tabi'in), who died around 110 H / 728 AD Sirin (born 33 H - died 110 H).

The Tabi'in of the young group (shighar at-tabi'in) who mostly narrated the hadith from the oldest Tabi'in, who died around 125 AH / 742 AD They were contemporaries of Qatadah bin Da'amah (born 61 H - died 118 H) and Ibn Shihab az-Zuhri (born 58 H - death 124 H).

The youngest Tabi'in who might still meet with the Companions of the Prophet and the oldest Tabi'in even though they did not narrate the hadith from the Companions of the Prophet, who died around 150 H / 767 AD (born 61 H - death 148 H).

The majority of the scholars of the biographies of the narrators of the hadith (asma ar-rijal) also divided the Tabi'in into three levels based on the Companions of the Prophet who became their teachers, namely: [3]

The Tabi'in who became disciples of the Companions who converted to Islam before the Fathu Makkah incident.
The Tabi'in who became students of the Friends who converted to Islam after the events of Fathu Makkah.
The Tabi'in who were students of the Friends who were not yet mature when the Prophet Muhammad died.
