Measure human emotions and behaviour ‘in the wild’.

The Sensum emSync app connects to various sensors to measure biometric (eg. heart rate) and contextual (eg. location) data, plus media from cameras and microphones. emSync gives you a single mobile app to connect, capture, process and report data on user emotions, behaviour and physiology, by integrating with Sensum’s cloud-based emotion AI processing engine, Synsis.

emSync combines physiological data capture with a multimedia diary tool, for you to record your thoughts, feelings and actions as you go. You can then get emotional insights (eg. arousal, positivity, etc.) via the emSight Dashboard*

emSync is a biometric sensor-fusion platform in your pocket.

Features include:
– Synchronise recording of biometrics, smartphone sensors, video and audio.
– Connect Bluetooth Low Energy heart rate wearables (see our list of compatible devices).
– Connect Bluetooth GSR (galvanic skin response / skin conductance) wearables (see – our list of compatible devices).
– View biometric data streams in real time.
– Add photos, text, emojis and audio notes to your sessions.
– Record continuous audio from your mobile’s inbuilt microphone.
– Securely upload session data to the emSight dashboard*
