Beats meter is a drum beat counter app that lets you count drum strokes and make BPM speed tests using the device accelerometer

With this app you may measure things such as drum stroke roll beats speed in BPM (Beats Per Minute). You don't even need a drum to make beats and count them with this app!

Keep in mind that this app uses the device accelerometer, not the microphone, so you will have to put the device in a place so it can "feel" and measure the vibration produced by the strokes you want to measure. The time and BPM measures shown by the app are between the first and last beats detected only

This app allows to calibrate the minimum time in milliseconds between beats to avoid transient pulses and also the minimum stroke strength for a beat to be counted (time and slope thresholds). On each beat detected the app emits a snare drum sound, pay attention for better calibration

You also may find Beats meter app useful for things such as vibration measures or as a device movement detection alarm. Use it at your convenience!
