The City of Metz is positioned as a city of artistic exploration based on plural cultural institutions and creative artists. Way of curiosity, discovery and daring, the Constellations Festival of Metz, which returns for its second edition, is the most striking expression.

True artistic immersion, heritage and urban constellations Metz calls for an interpretation of the city through the eyes of artists from all backgrounds around a dominant theme, digital arts. For its first edition, in 2017, over 600 000 people have responded enthusiastically to the proposed appointment artistic.

In 2018, the Constellations festival Metz highlights for almost 3 months, the cultural, urban and natural Metz. With artistic creations imagined in situ, combining requirement and inclusiveness, programming 2018 invites over 300 artists who take us on a poetic journey through 4 moths and artistic journey.

The route you discover Stones Digital messin heritage through an urban trip punctuated by artistic and digital installations. The route Street Art follows the path of Mettis with original designs and polyforms. The gardens serve Metz, meanwhile, vegetable boxes with multiple works, ephemeral and perennial. Finally, the German sculptor Robert Schad, connects with his monumental works, of sleek steel lines, the new amphitheater quarter in the heart of the historic city.
Alongside the four artistic courses, performances punctuate weekends Metz with a rich musical program, proposed by the musical-Metz City and numerous meetings between circus, theater, dance, street arts ... Finally, constellations Metz offers a series of prestigious exhibitions including those of the Center Pompidou-Metz.
