Sevan Nisanyan dictionary is Nişanyan individual work. Nothing special or did not receive support from public institutions. The first time was published in 2002 with the words of the pedigree name. Seventh revised and expanded edition will be published in 2018.

The purpose of the standard dictionary of Turkish words in the written language to date a) origin, and b) to document the history of evolution. In order to provide the current definitions of words it is not meant.

Word choice
