The Radio Liberty, is the result of a process of dialogue and partnership between John Paul II and the Archdiocese of Palmas Foundation. As its own logo suggests, not wanting to compete with anyone, it will be on air with a new program and the new mission of being the sounding board of the freedom of the paths of evangelization of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Palmas. It is born with the challenge of being the singer of a new song for the seeds and the good news of the Gospel of Jesus diffuse and germinate in this "painful earth, dramatic and magnificent" (Paul VI).
Radio Liberty aims and objectives:
1 - To be the Family Radio, communities and the voice of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Palmas in society;
2 - To be in tune with the real needs of the people;
Without falling into populism or eruditíssimo, joining the popular taste with the intellectual, artistic, cultural and religious;
3 - Being provider without welfare, the social service love, fantasy Charity Palmas Archdiocese;
4 - Keep a clear editorial line, focused on everyday issues of interest of the communities without shirk regional and national socio-political and cultural problems;
5 - Being independent front the political, cultural, social and religious groups;
Being attuned to local issues and the Catholic media, regional, national and international;
6 - Be mobilizing culture and popular tradition, without, however, fall into the commonplace and sameness;
7 - Having a criterion in scheduling and carrier: this contributes to the culture and mission palms Archdiocese;
8 - Take into account by announcing three positions: the situation, the contradictory and moderation;
9 - Keep servers and focused listeners daily in the Gospel of Jesus Christ;
10 - To be the evangelization channel people's daily lives;
11 - I Am proclaiming from the rooftops the message of Jesus (Mt 10:27; Lk 12.3), of which the Church is the depositary;
12 - Know how to dialogue with the media culture, social networks, new fields and other decision-making centers (DAp 491-500).
Educate and inform the listener about the current events through news and educational programs;
13 - To be the radio that carries the dream of Pope Francis: "communication in half hurt."
