With the new app "Drone Space" Austro Control provides a guideline, so that one is always safe as a drone pilot go. Essentially, you need to know before the first commissioning of a drone, which can be flown and whether a grant from Austro Control is required for the device. "Drone Space" answers the most important questions.

Features at a glance:

• retrieval of location-based information on the airspace structure.
• Maps always up to date, based on the official aeronautical charts by Austro Control
• After giving altitude and radius indicates whether one is for example in a control zone of an airport or in a restricted area.
i.e. • consideration of their respective bases it is shown whether the desired flight area, the operation is basically allowed or prohibited in general or a specific authorization or validation is required.
• In addition, users get a general information regarding mandatory approval of drones in Austria.
