Extraordinary situations sometimes require extraordinary measures. On the initiative of Pro Senectute and Migros, AMIGOS is being launched again for a limited time. Here you will find people who are currently unable to make purchases themselves and those who are happy to take on this task. Of course, the service can also be used by third parties to support those affected and place orders for them.

- As an orderer, you do not need the AMIGOS Bringer app, but put your shopping cart together at www.amigos.ch. The website will then find a link for you. This free offer is explicitly aimed at older people, people with previous illnesses or people who are currently in quarantine or self-isolation.

- As a carrier, you help people who, due to the current situation, cannot go shopping themselves. You buy the products you want and bring them to the customer's doorstep. It is important that you yourself are healthy and follow clear rules.

The requirements to become a bringer:
- You are healthy.
- You are at least 16 years old.
- You have a smartphone with the AMIGOS Bringer app.
- You have a bank account to which we can transfer the purchase amount.

Register and create a profile:
Log in with your Migros login or register again. Upload a photo of yourself so that the customer can see who is bringing the purchases and deposit a bank card so that we know where to transfer the purchase amount after delivery. Finally, indicate the areas in which you want to deliver your purchases. Registration is now complete and you can start.

Accept order:
As soon as an order is pending in your delivery area, we will send you a push message to the AMIGOS Bringer app. You decide which order you want to accept and which not. If you do not want to be disturbed, you can of course deactivate the push messages and check the AMIGOS Bringer app from time to time when you go shopping at Migros.

Shopping and delivery:
With the shopping list in the AMIGOS Bringer app, you buy the desired Migros products for the customer. The amount for the purchase has already been reserved with the customer. At the checkout, you pay for the purchase with your money. The app shows you the way to the customer. Keep a distance of at least 2 meters from the handover at all times. As soon as you have delivered the purchase, the exact purchase amount will be transferred directly to your account.

As simple as that! By the way: After each order, the owner and the customer evaluate each other. So we can check whether everything went to your and his satisfaction.
