Rediff Labs' isClean is an app created for India which helps people to locate the nearest publicly accessible toilets to them. The app also helps you add yet unmarked toilets within a fixed geographical radius. The important feature of this app is it allows people to rate the toilets regarding its hygiene.

In India there is lack of toilets in many places including cities. This leads people to open defecation and unhygienic environment. Some 70 percent of households in India don’t have access to toilets, whether in rural areas or urban slums. Roughly 60 percent of the country’s 1.2 billion people still defecate in the open.

This app is for the public and tourist which helps them to use clean and hygiene toilets. This is one small step towards better sanitation.
