In this post, I am going to show you how to install GIGAWALK on Windows PC by using Android App Player such as BlueStacks, LDPlayer, Nox, KOPlayer, ...

Before you start, you will need to download the APK/XAPK installer file, you can find download button on top of this page. Save it to easy-to-find location.

Below you will find a detailed step-by-step guide, but I want to give you a fast overview of how it works. All you need is an emulator that will emulate an Android device on your Windows PC and then you can install applications and use it - you see you're playing it on Android, but this runs not on a smartphone or tablet, it runs on a PC.

Step By Step Guide To Install GIGAWALK using BlueStacks

Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. If your APK/XAPK file doesn't automatically open BlueStacks, right-click on it and select Open with... Browse to the BlueStacks. You can also drag-and-drop the APK/XAPK file onto the BlueStacks home screen
Once installed, click "GIGAWALK" icon on the home screen to start using, it'll work like a charm :D

GIGAWALK is an internal app for employees at Telia Company which is used in the voluntary program YOUNITE. Using GIGAWALK during specific events you support Generation Peps important work!

The app GIGAWALK allows you to collect energy while on the move, for example, when you walk, run or jump. You also collect energy by completing various challenges. The energy level you achieved converted after the event to the data, which is donated to Generation Pep as a support for their grassroots organizations to run their business.

Why Telia has developed GIGAWALK?
Telia digitizes Sweden by connecting people and public services, and make everything more can enjoy amazing the digital life offers. But there is a downside. We - and especially our children - are becoming more sedentary.

Sweden is one of Europe's most sedentary countries and that Telia through our involvement in the organization Generation Pep change! The app GIGAWALK we want to make it easy for Telia's employees in a simple and concrete way to help support the Generation Peps business.

Who can use GIGAWALK?
GIGAWALK is an app for employees at Telia Company, which is used at specific events.

How to measure Telia PEP! movement?
Data collection is done automatically via the built-in pedometer to your phone when you are walking or running. Measuring step occurs even when the app is not active. This saves mobile battery life. When performing the challenges of measuring app stages and acceleration during the time the challenge will last. This measurement takes place only when the app is active. For the measurement to take place you need to have your phone on you (in your pocket or in your hand).

How do I know how much data I have earned?
For each level you achieve in the app's "progress bar" helps you with 1 GB of data to Generation Peps grassroots organizations. Perform all six challenges also generates the 1GB of data. All participants step levels and challenges are added together for the event.
