Permissions required -
These permissions are necessary for optimum functioning of the Free SMS Backup and Restore app.

1. "SMS" - To backup your SMS to your Gmail account and to restore the messages back to your phone.
2. "Read Contacts" - Used get each contact name from respective phone number, so you can see their name in the Gmail backups.
3. "External Storage" - For processing backup and restore process.
4. "Get Accounts and Read Phone State" - Used to get your Google account email to use with Gmail and to get state of phone.
5. "Run at Startup" - The app can be set to automatically backup your SMS. This permission allows the Easy SMS Backup and Restore app to work silently in the background while you get about your work.

Notes:
Your data will always belong to you. At no point of time does the developer receive your SMS or Contact details.

Your Google email account ID will be used to authenticate you to sync your messages on Gmail.

If you want to restore your SMS from Gmail to another phone, please ensure you have the SMS2Gmail Easy SMS Backup and Restore app installed on that phone too.
