In this post, I am going to show you how to install DocLock - Secure Credential Locker on Windows PC by using Android App Player such as BlueStacks, LDPlayer, Nox, KOPlayer, ...

Before you start, you will need to download the APK/XAPK installer file, you can find download button on top of this page. Save it to easy-to-find location.

Step By Step Guide To Install DocLock - Secure Credential Locker using BlueStacks

  1. Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
  2. Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. If your APK/XAPK file doesn't automatically open BlueStacks, right-click on it and select Open with... Browse to the BlueStacks. You can also drag-and-drop the APK/XAPK file onto the BlueStacks home screen
  3. Once installed, click "DocLock - Secure Credential Locker" icon on the home screen to start using, it'll work like a charm :D

You can save anything such as passport no, internet banking username and passwords, Email Addresses, National Identity Card No, Employee No and Pin codes etc.

DocLock makes sure to store all your credentials encrypted and secured in Firebase Realtime database which provides you 24/7 availability with ease of access. Your credentials are password protected based on your Gmail account. All your data is encrypted by a unique key generated for every user, when user is registered in online database. Your key resides in app level storage in Google Drive so no body else can access it except you.

How to use DocLock?

It's pretty simple to use DocLock just like you can use a simple notepad. DocLock consists of the following major features.

1. Online Database Registration.
================
A one-time registration is required which will ask you to authenticate via your Gmail account.

2. Store Your Credentials
====================
You can store your credentials anytime you want. It's very easy with the minimum of three yet important values. Provide an identifier title, value of your credentials along with the description as a reminder. Records will be saved after encryption in the Firebase Realtime database.

3. Update Credentials
==================
You can update your credentials changes anytime quiet easily. Just tap on desired credential and simply change values. We keep a complete track of change where you can monitor at what time and date you last made changes to your credentials.

4. Delete Unnecessary Credentials.
============================
Remove credentials which are no longer needed or was entered by mistake.

5. Change Password
=================
Change your password in case of any doubt of identity theft. It's always better to change your passwords within a week or two.

6. Forgot Password
================
If you forget your password, you can simply provide Gmail email address and get an instant password resend link on your email.
