In this post, I am going to show you how to install Quit&Return on Windows PC by using Android App Player such as BlueStacks, LDPlayer, Nox, KOPlayer, ...

Before you start, you will need to download the APK/XAPK installer file, you can find download button on top of this page. Save it to easy-to-find location.

Below you will find a detailed step-by-step guide, but I want to give you a fast overview of how it works. All you need is an emulator that will emulate an Android device on your Windows PC and then you can install applications and use it - you see you're playing it on Android, but this runs not on a smartphone or tablet, it runs on a PC.

Step By Step Guide To Install Quit&Return using BlueStacks

  1. Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
  2. Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. If your APK/XAPK file doesn't automatically open BlueStacks, right-click on it and select Open with... Browse to the BlueStacks. You can also drag-and-drop the APK/XAPK file onto the BlueStacks home screen

The app Quit and Return is an app to help you quit smoking. Either you are attending a smoking cessation unit in a medical center, or you are quitting on your own, Quit and Return will be a good support for you!

Once you set a date to quit smoking, this app will send you motivational messages to encourage you to stop smoking. The messages are tailored to your profile, so the more details you provide, the more specific and useful the app will be. Make sure you complete your extended profile information to get the most of the app!

All messages have been designed by experts to help you change your habits, and validated by smoking cessation clinicians: Dr. Weili from Wellcome Clinic, and Dr. Su from Taipei Medical University Hospital.

In addition, you will be able to track your financial savings, the number of life hours you have regained by not smoking, the amount of cigarettes that you have not smoked, and the time you have been a smoke free person.

This app is grounded in scientific evidence, designed and developed by a multidisciplinary team of experts from the Taipei Medical University (Taiwan), Taipei Medical University Hospital (Taiwan), the Wellcome Clinic (Taiwan), Salumedia Tecnologías (Spain), and University of Seville (Spain) as part of the SmokeFreeBrain project. It uses the I-Change behavioral change model from Prof. Hein de Vries, University of Maastricht (The Netherlands) integrated in an innovative health recommender system.
