Kindly use the "Sync Settings" to backup your notes either to Device Storage or your Google Drive to prevent data loss. Especially before updating unique note.

Sync information:
Unique Note database is store in your device storage inside a folder name "Unique Note" with the name(s) you desire while storing of database to Google Drive can either be in a folder or not, the choice is totally up to the user.

To access the backup to Google Drive simply go to "drive.google.com" using your web browser or through Unique Note: Settings >>> Sync Settings >>> Restore from Google Drive and navigate to your stored backup which ends with .db.

Kindly note that the developer doesn't have access to your backup which means only you will have access to your backup either on your device or cloud(google drive).

Kindly use the back up for device to keep your notes saved before updating Unique Note. Google drive Api has been changed to v3 because the previous version has been discontinued. The next update will solve the subscription issues.
