ASMA GAME OVER is a videogame aimed at all young people between 12-18 years, with specific attention to those suffering from asthma and respiratory diseases and their caregivers and aims to:

· Promote healthier and appropriate lifestyles;
· To increase a better knowledge of the pathology and a correct therapeutic adherence in the treatment of asthma in young patients
· To deepen the socio-cultural barriers that hinder the adherence of adolescent asthmatics to therapeutic protocols to ensure greater support for caregivers in the transition from pediatric care to the adult taking charge of children;

With this video game we would therefore like to send messages of prevention and exhortation to the adoption of healthy lifestyles, using a young and adolescent-friendly language. For young asthma patients and other respiratory diseases - and those around them - we would also like to accompany them not to underestimate the importance of a correct treatment and therapeutic path, even when this seems to collide with the need for independence and social emulation, typical formulas of behavior found among adolescent communities.

The application was developed from the idea of ​​the Association RESPIRIAMO INSIEME ONLUS, an association of volunteers enrolled in the National Registry of Non-profit Organizations based in Padua and which has other operational offices in several Italian regions.

The Association is committed to protecting the health of patients, adults and children with asthma, allergies, diseases of the breath through specific projects and actions that aim to facilitate access to necessary services, therapies and protections to ensure the inclusion and inclusion in the community, in the social and educational life of those suffering from asthma and related respiratory diseases.

It also promotes information projects, health education and training aimed at institutions involved in public health.

We are also committed to providing valuable support to the patient (psychological, legal and social counseling) and to families with children and young people admitted to hospitals, rehabilitation centers and pediatric specialist centers.

The Association is also very concerned about the environment and therefore promotes initiatives to raise awareness of the damage caused by pollution on the health of children and adults and collaborates with the institutions to implement appropriate ecological policies.
