Al-Hllaj (Spinner of Yarn), Abu al-Mughits al-Husayn ibn Manshur bin Muhammad al-Baidhawi (244 -309 H / 857 -922 AD), is a Sufi theologian who is Arabic.

His life, teachings and death gave enlightenment in an important period of Islamic cultural history, and the inner experience he described could be considered a decisive moment in the history of Sufism.

 Origin. Al-Hallaj was born around 244 H.8585-8 AD On Thur, northeast of Baidha in Persia. On Thur, the Persi dialect used by Baidha ’is the Arab city where Sibawaih was born. This needs to be said because al-Hallaj was the grandson of a gabr and descendant of Abu Ayub, a friend of the Prophet. His father, who may have been a spinner of yarn, left Thur to the challenged textile region of Tustar to Wasith (on the Trigis River), a city founded by Arabs, dominated by the Sunni-Hanbali (with a marginal area inhabited by extremist minorities Shiite) and is the center of the madrasa famous among the Quraysh (reader of the Qur'an).

At Wasith, al-Hallaj lost his speaking ability in Persian. Before he was 12 years old, he learned to memorize the Qur'an and become a Hafiz. He first sought out the inner meaning of the teachings of the Qur'an and threw himself into Sufism at the Sahl at-Tustari madrasa.

In Basrah. When he was twenty years old, al-Hallaj left Sahl at-Tustar for Basrah. Here he obtained the tradition of the Sufis from Amr al-Makki and married Umm al-Husain, daughter of Abu Ya'qub al-Aqtha. Throughout his life, al-Hallaj only had a wife and was awarded three sons and a daughter. His marriage caused jealousy and resistance from ‘Amr al-Makki. When he was not home, al-Hallaj entrusted his family to his brother-in-law, a Karnaba'i. I am sure this book is still a lot of problems and shortcomings, ask for support and criticism.
