About Ludo
Ludo originated in India in the 6th century and is derived from the game, Parcheesi. Ludo has since spread all over the world – In Spain, Ludo is called Parchís while German Ludo is hilariously called “Man, Don’t Get Annoyed” (Mensch ärgere Dich nicht).

In Europe, Ludo became popular as a game for bored soldiers during WW1 and spiked in popularity when the stars of the pop group ABBA were seen playing Ludo in their music video ‘The Name of the Game’. Ludo has remained popular throughout the ages and we are thrilled to bring this beautiful new version to your smartphone.

Rules of Ludo
The objective of Ludo is pretty simple - Each player gets 4 tokens. These tokens must make a full turn of the board and then make it to the finish line. Whichever player gets all four tokens to the end first is the winner.
Each move in Ludo is determined by rolling a six-sided dice. To get the token out of home, you have to case a 6 and after that whatever you roll is the number of steps your token can move.
If another player’s token lands on the same square as your token, then your token will automatically be sent back home and you’ll need to roll a six again. So, you can see why Germans call it “Man, Don’t Get Annoyed”!
